Experiment with Render Mode of Lights in the Quality Settings to get the correct priority.Essentially only the directional light should be per pixel, everything else - per vertex. Adjust pixel light count in quality settings.Use light mapping instead of realtime lights where ever possible.Forward rendered pixel lights are expensive.Use Renderer.sharedMaterial instead of Renderer.material if using texture atlases and shared materials. These are faster to load, have fewer state switches, and are batching friendly. Use texture atlases (large images containing a collection of sub-images) instead of a number of individual textures. This makes it easier for Unity to batch stuff. Keep the number of materials as low as possible. When you use float/half/fixed types in HLSL, they end up highp/mediump/lowp precision qualifiers in GLSL ES. mobile + Mac) since there currently are no GLSL->HLSL translation tools. You can also write GLSL directly if you want to, but doing that limits you to OpenGL-like platforms (e.g. This is cross compiled into GLSL ES for mobile platforms. Built in shaders are most often written in HLSL (also known as Cg). Unity is optimized for OpenGL ES 2.0, it uses GLSL ES (similar to HLSL) shading language. The architectures of the GPUs are also tuned to use as little bandwidth & power as possible. So compared to the desktop parts, mobile GPUs have way less bandwidth, low ALU performance and texturing power. Mobile GPUs have huge constraints in how much heat they produce, how much power they use, and how large or noisy they can be. LOD (Level of Detail) - make objects simpler or eliminate them completely as they move further away. So compress textures, use mipmaps, reduce texture size, etc. If reducing the Texture Quality in Quality Settings makes the game run faster, you are probably limited by memory bandwidth. If possible simplify your pixel shaders by moving code to vertex shader. So use mobile shaders that come with Unity or design your own but make them as simple as possible. On mobiles you’re essentially fillrate bound (fillrate = screen pixels * shader complexity * overdraw), and over-complex shaders is the most common cause of problems. Occlusion culling could help here as Unity will automatically cull objects outside the viewing frustum. All three of these can be reduced if you can find a way to cull more renderers. Graphics performance is bound by fillrate, pixel and geometric complexity (vertex count). Use more eye-candy on higher performing configurations:.Make sure it runs okay on baseline configuration. You can easily find a phone that’s 10x more powerful for rendering than some other phone. Just like on PCs, mobile platforms like iOS and Android have devices of various levels of performance.

I loved how there were multiple “leading ladies” at different points during the show and how most of them could not only dance, but skate! At one point, their attire changed from sophisticated suits and dresses to strip club wear (this was my favorite part of the show BTW). Not only did Usher have about 4 outfit changes, but the dancers changed as well. Speaking of attire.I have to discuss the dancers. Their attire reminded me of the suits you see in the roaring 20s films and gave a jazz/ New Orleans feel. At some points, I found myself lost in a trance watching them instead of Usher lol. The show featured a live band that not only played each song to perfection, but that danced, moved, and engaged with Usher the entire show. If you thought Usher would be the only star of the show, think again. I want to begin by saying this was THE BEST CONCERT I HAVE EVER ATTENDED! Every aspect of the show was meticulously planned to provide the ultimate experience. Upon learning he was returning to Vegas at Park MGM, I kicked my planning into gear. Despite my efforts to attend last year, I was unable to make it happen due to fear surrounding covid restrictions. My Way is Usher’s follow up residency to last year’s 20 show stint at Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. I had the privilege of attending Usher’s 3 rd show for Usher: The Vegas Residency on Wednesday, July 20 th at Dolby Theater and will be sharing my thoughts and opinion on the show and whether I think it’s worth seeing. Some were very vocal in praising this feature. Steve McLeod: I'd estimate roughly 10% of our customers use this. PokerSoftware: What percentage of Poker Copilot customers take advantage of the Sharkscope data available to them? This prevents someone from accidentally using their Sharkscope daily query quota too quickly. Steve McLeod: Yes, and yes! For the general stats page (we call it the "Recent Players" summary), the Sharkscope info is fetched for a player upon request. PokerSoftware: Does the Sharkscope data show up when players are reviewing hands in the replayer? What about on the general stats page when players are using Poker Copilot's database while not playing? From the point of view of the Poker Copilot user, the data seems unified. Once the data arrives, it shows in the same HUD panel. The Sharkscope data can sometimes take a second or two to arrive because we need to fetch it over the internet and wait for it to arrive. The VPIP data appears instantly from Poker Copilot's database. Steve McLeod: Yes, it does, more or less. PokerSoftware: Does the Sharkscope data and data such as VPIP appear on the table at the same time? If not, how does it work? It is good for separating sit and gos from scheduled tournaments. You can tell Poker Copilot to use any of these Sharkscope filters on particular tables. The Sharkscope API informs us of any filter the user has set up on the Sharkscope website. Steve McLeod: We do allow some simple filtering. PokerSoftware: You mentioned "all-time." Are there filters available for certain games? You can see if they are a long-term winner or a giant fish. This is especially useful against opponents you may never have seen before. I think this gives a player a chance to get a far more accurate picture of their tournament opponent. Steve McLeod: The normal stats in Poker Copilot (VPIP/PFR etc) are calculated only from hands that the hero played, but the Sharkscope stats are all-time from the entire database on SharkScope. PokerSoftware: How do Poker Copilot customers benefit from Sharkscope API? Steve McLeod: It's available on all current versions of Poker Copilot, both the Windows version and the Mac version. PokerSoftware: Is it available on all versions of Poker Copilot? There's even a tournament history mini-graph. This also includes all info Sharkscope has available. Poker players can add these stats to their HUD so that Sharkscope's useful tournament "Ability" number shows next to the classic VPIP/PFR/Agg stats.įrom your HUD, you can summon a popup window with all the stats you have for a player. If a Poker Copilot user has a Sharkscope account, they go to Poker Copilot's preferences, add their Sharkscope user name and password, and voila, dozens of extra statistics become available in Poker Copilot. Steve McLeod: Sharkscope supplies an API that lets us look up the all-time tournament stats for any player in Poker Copilot's database. PokerSoftware: Can you tell us how Sharkscope API is embedded into Poker Copilot? We sat down the founder of Poker Copilot, Steve McLeod, to learn more about how it works and the history behind it. The poker tracking database and HUD Poker Copilot is one such third-party application that takes advantage of the services available via Sharkscope's API. What you may not realize is that Sharkscope also offers a business-to-business service aptly called SharkScope API, which allows software developers to embed Sharkscope tools directly into their third-party software packages. Tweet If you play tournaments and/or sit and gos, you know Sharkscope is a great site to look up detailed and filterable stats on how both you and your opponents have performed in these games. The decline in the apple industry began some years ago when growers couldn’t find enough laborers to work in their orchards. But the apple industry started declining and we had to do something to survive, so we converted our orchard to a U-Pick operation.” “We did all of the picking, packing and shipping ourselves. “At one time, we were commercial,” Bryson said. He remembers when business at the orchard was booming. He retired a few years ago from a job at Clemson University and spends most of his time these days working with a few family and staff members in his orchard. It’s still a great carry bag, coming in at a very reasonable 5.5 pounds, is comfortable to tote on the course and works equally well on a push cart or a powered golf cart. The latest version of the Hoofer doesn’t disappoint. After all, it’s been the standard in carry bags for the past three decades, and probably the most comfortable carry bag of all time over those years, having innovated several features that are standard today. When you think about carry stand bags, the PING Hoofer is probably the first one that comes to mind. While you’re here, find out how to improve your golf swing in 7 steps. Do you struggle to pack light? Then you might need enough space for several clubs and extra pockets for valuables. If you opt for cart golf bags, ensure it has a good quality cart strap loop to secure onto the cart. Regardless of your game style, your bag should be well-made with reliable stands (if you use stand bags) and comfortable straps. If you’re unsure what to look for in a golf bag, you might want to consider if you prefer to carry or cart and how much storage you need on the green for balls, tees and outerwear like the best golf gloves. Third, if you’re totally unfamiliar with item networks and setting up ITDs make sure to read the Getting Started sections instead of skipping to the more interesting parts. Plus, it’s fun to design and build factories. In that case, sitting in an organic soup bath and making a coffee irl while your factory produces what you need is great. But if you play survival, enjoy building, and don’t spawn in items, it can be a pain to make enough advanced plastic for 10000 plasteel walls. Second, not all of this is the most efficient way of getting items. This means I won't be adding the missing images in the later sections until I rebuild those factories, sorry for the delays. If I know I’m using something not from FU I will try to say so but it may not be totally obvious to me and I’m not planning on starting a new character with only FU installed anytime soon.ĮDIT: I've cut down my mod list to make modding easier, which meant wiping my previous universe and players. Most of this guide is about using FU features, but it’s entirely possible I’ve grabbed something from another active mod (such as the Recycler, which comes the Calistan Race Mod). If you want to do the same keep it in mind that using this modpack will almost certainly require you to start a new character. First, I play Starbound with the modpack used for the official Frackin’ Universe server, aka. Faerûn has a pantheon of deities that are worshipped by the followers of this region. The system of magic is subdivided into divine and arcane categories, with the former empowered by a Faerûnian deity, and the latter by rituals or innate abilities which manipulate a mystical field called the Weave, the source of magical energies on Toril. Ī major difference between the setting and Earth is the presence of magic. Likewise, there are regions where more barbaric tribes and customs persist. There are also a number of notable cities, and trade between nations is common, as in the Renaissance era. Most of the population of Faerûn consists of farmers, who are organized somewhat loosely in a semi- feudal system. Gunpowder, known here as the magical substance smoke powder and different in its composition from historical gunpowder, is starting to make an appearance, but much of the armament is still dominated by pre-gunpowder weaponry such as swords, spears, and bows. Around a hundred novels, several computer and video games and a film use Faerûn as the setting.įictional culture and technology Įconomically and technologically, Faerûn is comparable to Western Europe during the late Middle Ages, giving most new players using this campaign setting an intuitive grasp of the way the society functions. It is described in detail in several editions of the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (first published in 1987 by TSR, Inc.) with the most recent being the 5th edition from Wizards of the Coast, and various locales and aspects are described in more depth in separate campaign setting books. Faerûn / f eɪ ˈ r uː n/ is a fictional continent and the primary setting of the Dungeons & Dragons world of Forgotten Realms. Williamson, Ingram and McCollum each had at least 10 points in the first half, and Ingram hit a 31-foot bank shot at the halftime horn to give New Orleans a 59-52 lead. Williamson “was just being a force tonight, playing downhill and getting into the paint,” Timberwolves guard Jordan McLaughlin said. Minnesota briefly got as close as 99-91 before Williamson hit a driving layup and Ingram hit a turnaround as he was fouled to make it 104-91. It came on Conley's 3, which trimmed New Orleans' lead to 99-89. It took Minnesota nearly four minutes to make its first basket of the fourth quarter. Mike Conley and Naz Reid each scored 17 points for Minnesota, which had won nine of its previous 10 games.īrandon Ingram scored 20 points and Jonas Valanciunas had 14 points and 13 rebounds for New Orleans, which won for the first time in three games against Minnesota this season. Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with 17 points and 12 rebounds, but he fouled out with 2:35 left and his team trailing by 14. The Wolves played without leading scorer Anthony Edwards, who left Friday night's win at Memphis with a right hip pointer. “He’s doing a great job responding well to a lot of criticism around him.” “He was sharp, he was aggressive, he was very assertive, he was locked in,” McCollum said. He made 13 of 17 shots and 10 of 12 free throws. It was Williamson's third game this season with more than 30 points. Williamson's highlights included a double-pump floater off the glass from left of the lane as he was fouled by Jaden McDaniels to make it 109-94 with 4:51 left. 1 defense in the NBA, so does it get harder than that?” “Tough finishes over the best shot-blocking big in the NBA,” McCollum said of Williamson's touch around the basket. I'm just glad we responded.”Īgainst the T-Wolves, Williamson repeatedly scored on forceful drives to the basket, often finishing high off the glass to beat the long reach of Minnesota center Rudy Gobert. “If I want to be one of the best players in the league, if we don't win in a big moment or something bad happens, that's to be expected. “It's been like that since I was 16 years old,” Williamson added. “But if it comes from anywhere else, everybody's entitled to their own opinion. “If it comes from a great place and a place where they just want to see me do better, thank you,” Williamson said of the criticism. Some said he appeared out of shape and others said he failed to raise his intensity level in the face of a LeBron James-led squad that appeared far more motivated. Williamson, meanwhile, was the object of ridicule by some national NBA analysts after he scored 13 points on eight shots and finished with just three rebounds against the Lakers. “We kind of went into the game too lackadaisical. It doesn’t take rocket science to see that,” Williamson said. The game was a character test for the Pelicans, coming off their 133-89 drubbing at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers in Las Vegas on Thursday night. "So, my thought process was to be aggressive. “I can't just take a back seat or kind of be too laid back," Williamson said. Williamson scored a season-high 36 points, CJ McCollum added nine of his 23 points in the fourth quarter on three timely 3-pointers, and the New Orleans Pelicans beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 121-107 on Monday night. He rose to the challenge, to say the least.
